SD County Park & Forest Closures Due to Fire
All SD City Parks CLOSED As of 10/22 and until further notice ALL San Diego City Parks are closed due to ongoing fire danger. Please respect these closures.
SD County Park Closures Due to Fire October 23, 2007:
Pasted below is a list of SD County facilities currently CLOSED until further notice.
The Tijuana River Valley will be used as an equestrian evacuation site. The TJRV is located at 2721 Monument Road, San Diego. For more information, please call 619-428-2946 or visit http://trvea.org/.

County are offering refunds for camping reservations through Thursday based on park closures and/or poor air quality. For reservation information, contact the reservations desk at 858-565-3600.

San Diego, CA October 22, 2007...To protect public health and safety of those in and around the Cleveland National Forest from wildfire, effective Monday, October 22, 2007, through the end of the fire emergency, the Cleveland National Forest will be closed. Going into or being upon National Forest System lands, road or trails within the Cleveland National Forest constitutes a violation of these prohibitions and is punishable by a fine of not more than $5,000 for an individual or $10,000 for an organization, or imprisonment for not more than six months, or both.16 USC 551 and 18 USC 3559, 3571, and 3581. Please check with the other southern California National Forests to determine what current fire restrictions are in place. Check before you go for updated information. Forest offices are open Monday - Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For the Cleveland National Forest Supervisor's Office dial (858) 673-6180. For Alpine, Descanso, and Laguna Mountain Area contact the Descanso Ranger District at (619) 445-6235. For Palomar Mountain, Henshaw, Ramona and Oak Grove areas contact the Palomar Ranger District at (760) 788-0250. For the Ortega Hwy area, San Mateo and Corona area contact the Trabuco Ranger District at (951) 736-1811.
